Paying a belated tribute to International Women’s Day. For many years I was a volunteer with UNIFEM. In 2006 UNIFEM helped with the annual IWD event at St. Bartholomew’s Church in NYC with a talented roster of women advocates.\ud83c\udf0d<\/p>\n

A beautiful church and a rewarding experience with an important cause.\u2764\ud83c\udf0d\ud83c\udf37<\/p>\n

The UNIFEM name has changed over the years, but the group remains a significant program of the United Nations.<\/p>\n
