Iceland has been in the works since January 2023. In January I attended the NY Travel and Adventure Show, mainly to see Andrew McCarthy speak. Play Airlines, an Icelandic airline, had a drawing for two free round trip tickets. I entered and I won. Dates and itinerary are still being sorted. Going in October because that is the earliest time of year the Northern Lights can be seen, but before temperatures become too cold. Looking forward to seeing this part of the world and feeling a whole new kind of cold. But not before I’m done experiencing the amazing Andes Mountains here in Chile.
